On Saturday 3rd December the Company at 10am we climbed aboard a coach for the Christmas day out.

We went to the West Midlands Safari Park which is on the doorstep of Kidderminster. The coach took us around the safari park so we could see the various animals including the lions, white tigers and many others. After the drive around we had our lunch then made our way into the safari park walk around section. There we saw various animals such as penguins, creepy crawlies, bats and of course soem reindeer.

At 2pm we went to see Santa and after a bit of a wait we had our photos with Santa and a present each. The adults didn’t have a present but had a mince pie and a hot drink. Afterwards it was time to head back onto the coach and returned to Kidderminster. The Anchors then went home leaving the Juniors, Company and Seniors to sleepover. On the evening we played on the computers.

The morning came around and we managed to get some sleep. We had our Brigade Carol service in the morning and then went home.
