OCTOBER
CAMP 2010

On Friday 8th October we set off to London with 12 Boys and 6 staff. We arrived ain London just after 9:30 pm and settled in.

On the Saturday we  travelled by train to London Waterloo station.

We walked to the London Eye and across to the Houses of Parliament  with the sound of Big Ben ringing out. A walk around the corner took us past the Cenotaph to Downing Street.  It was then time to go  to H.M.S  Belfast on the  Underground where we spent the morning exploring the ship, looking on how life was on board this  warship. After lunch on the stern of the ship we headed of the Imperial War Museum on the Underground. We had a look around the trenches exhibit then looked around the many exhibits and also the shop.

It was time to go so we  headed back on the underground and then the tube back to Whitton Baptist Church with very tired feet. After tea we headed off to 10 Pin Bowling where we had a couple of games and was a great way to unwind after a busy day. It only took about 15 minutes to get there but took longer to get back due to getting slightly lost !

In the morning we joined Whitton Baptist Church for their service. We then had lunch and headed off back to Kidderminster with the thoughts of all  that we had seen and done.
