Charter of Good Behaviour
As a Member of the 1st Kidderminster Boys' Brigade you are expected to:
-Come to Section Meetings as regularly as possible - every week if you can.
Attend Church Parades regularly on the first Sunday of the month.
Wear your Uniform to all Section Meetings and Church Parades.
Arrive on time for all Meetings.
Behave properly, showing kindness and consideration to other boys.
Obey the Company general rules and special event rules and the instructions given by the staff.
Be cheerful, helpful and curteous at all times.
Be truthful and honest at all times.
Set the best example you can to other boys and in public, act in a manner which will bring credit to yourself, our Company and The Boys' Brigade.
Play fairly in all games.
Always do your best.
We expect boys NEVER to:
-Swear or use abusive or racist language.
Fight, kick or punch any other boys or members of staff.
Steal.
Bully any other boy.
Sulk or throw tantrums.
Bring banned items to Section Meetings.
In return for boys keeping their side of this charter, the staff will do their best to:
-Keep all the rules you are expected to keep.
Prepare interesting, exciting, educational and fun activities for you.
Organise outings and holidays for you.
Teach you about Jesus and help you grow up to live a good Christian life.
Listen to you and help you when you have a problem.
Set you a good example.
Safeguard you at all times.
Reward your achievements.
Correct your failures.
What will happen if you break the rules?
If you fail to keep the rules you will be told how you have failed and warned about your behaviour. If you continue to break the rules a member of staff will tell your parents about it. If you behave very baldly you may be suspended from attending Section Meetings for a time or, at last resort, dismissed from The Boys' Brigade.
